Thanksgiving Celebration

We went over the The McKee's for a real Thanksgiving Dinner.  It was awesome food and we had a lot of fun hanging out with our new friends!
Carson, Kennedy, Hannah, Ben & Kenzie
The kids had so much fun playing and doing crafts together.
The whole crew!

Our Thanksgiving Dinner

Even though Gary had to work and Kenzie had school we were still able to have our own little Thanksgiving Dinner!
Well chicken instead of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes & green beans
Even a homemade pumpkin pie!
Even though we missed our family we still had a great day!
A lot to be Thankful for!

International Thanksgiving

We had an International Thanksgiving at school on Thursday November 22, 2012 (since China doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving Kenzie had school and Gary had to work).  Kenzie's class and one of the other Kindergarten classes had a potluck lunch to celebrate.
 Hannah came too.
 Desserts!!
We had lots of yummy food from all over the world.
Enjoying lunch!
We had a great time even though Kenzie still had school!

Daisy Aquarium Visit

We went to the Aquarium with the Daisy girls.  We got to go after hours and get a private tour.  We had a lot of fun learning about fish!
 Having fun!
 Penquins
 Giant Crab
 Seahorses
Kenzie & Lindsay with the jellyfish
 Stingrays
The girls got to touch some fish, Kenzie wasn't too sure this was as far as she would put her finger in!
The girls got to draw some fish and do some crafts too!
We had a lot of fun, it was cool to be the only ones there!

Mmmm...soup!

Ben really liked his soup...on his head!
Lately Ben likes to put things on his head, it doesn't matter if there is something in it!

Happy Halloween 2012

 My little butterflies!
Making treat bags with Kenzie's class.  The Kindergarten celebrated Halloween by rotating through all of the Kindergarten classrooms doing various crafts of games.  Our classroom had treat bags with pumpkin mosaics on them and Mystery boxes!
Here are our mystery boxes with spiders, eyeballs (peeled grapes), worms (green spaghetti noodles) and bloody slime (jelllo)!  It was a big hit!

 My butterflies and Clark Kent!
 Kenzie getting ready to trick-or-treat!
 Kenzie & Sophie
Ben!  He was a little crabby so this was the best picture I could get!
 Hannah ready to go!
Central Residences Phase 2 Trick-or-treaters!  We had fun trick or treating, although I will have to say that it was interesting trick or treating in a high rise!
It was a great day!  The kids had a lot of fun, I'm glad we were able to keep some things the same (or close to it) as if we lived in Michigan!

Breast Cancer Walk-a-Thon

The SCIS Girl Scouts hosted a Breast Cancer Walk-a-Thon on Saturday at the main campus.  The girls walked around the soccer field.  They collected donations.  People could either donate a flat donation or a per lap donation.
 Our Daisy Girls!
The girls did a great job!
Hannah walked too!
Kenzie did 14 laps and Hannah did 7!
They did a great job!
We are so proud of them.
