2 Months old

Ben turned 2 months old yesterday.  He is getting so big!  He is such a happy baby, he is always smiling!  He loves to watch the girls.  He is also sleeping through the night (yay!!)
 Big Smile!!
We went to the doctor's today and here are Ben's 2 month stats
Weight 12 lbs 13 oz (77%)
Height 23" (53%)

Getting ready!

So we started to get stuff ready to move...man we have a lot of stuff!  This is not quite everything we had up in the attic!  What a mess!
Poor Ben surrounded by boxes!!  We have been busy sorting through everything to figure out if it needs to be stored, given away or taking it with us.  We still have a lot to do but at least we got started!

Halloween Hoopla

We went to Halloween Hoopla at the Macomb Township Rec. Center on Friday October 21st.  Grandma is the treasurer of Macomb Twp. so she asked us to go along with her.  They had crafts for the kids, a hair & nail salon, a haunted locker room (which we did not go in because it was too scary), a magic show and trick or treating.  Max & Aunt Megan also went.
 Belle, Tiger & Cinderella!
Aunt Megan and Max the monkey

Bloomfield Twp. Open House

On Sunday October 16th (I know I'm a little behind in my posts)  we went to the Bloomfield Township Open House.  Uncle Joe is a police officer there so they invited us to go.
They had lots of stuff for the kids to do.
Kenzie got to use a drill to build a dog house
Kenzie & Hannah with Uncle Joe.
Uncle Joe gave us a ride in a cop car.  Kenzie, Hannah & Mommy rode in the back and Aunt Megan & Max rode up front.  We got to see how everything works inside the car.
They did a demonstration on how the police dogs attack.  We also got a tour of the police station from Uncle Joe.
Then we went over to visit the fire department.  Here is Sparky the fire dog.
We got to check out the fire trucks.
Ben was there too!  He slept most of the time.
Kenzie getting to "put out a fire" with the fire hose.
 Hannah "putting out the fire"
 Max
Kenzie & Hannah with their fire hats
Kenzie got to dress up like a firefighter (Hannah didn't want to do it)
But Max did and he loved it!  We had lots of fun checking out the police station, the fire station and everything else!  Thanks to Uncle Joe for inviting us!

Surprise Party

Sunday October 9th was my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary.  We threw them a surprise party, that we totally pulled off because they had no clue!!  They were picked up for church in a limo, then they renewed their vows at church and then the limo drove them around until the party started, they thought we were just going to dinner.  It was awesome!
The kids had fun dancing to the DJ!  It was a great day!   Happy Anniversary mom & dad!

Octoberfest/Chili Cook off!

We had our annual Luchtman Road Octoberfest and Chili Cook off on Saturday October 8th.  There was a cornhole tournament also.
We took first place this year with out chili!!

Sarah, Cory, Kadence & Kendalyn also came down to visit us.  So they also went to the party.  It was so nice to see them!
There were 18 chilis in the cook off this year.
We also had our family picture taken.
