Detroit Race for the Cure

Gary, Beth and I did the Race for the Cure 5K Walk/Run around Comerica Park in Detroit today. Gary ran it while Beth & I walked. It was a good mini practice for the 3 Day walk in September that Beth & I are doing again!

Pool Time

It was really warm yesterday so we decided to get out the pool Kenzie got for her birthday.
I only filled the pool up a little because I had to use the hose and the water was really cold.
As you can tell Kenzie didn't want to sit in the cold water so she stood up the whole time.

Even though it was cold she loved it!

Toilet Paper Bride

We went to a shower for Roger Jr. & Ranya on Saturday
We played a game where you dress someone up on your team as a bride using toilet paper and since Cindy, Barb or I didn't want to do it we dressed Kenzie up!
She won!!

1 year checkup

Kenzie had her 1 year checkup yesterday! She is now 19 lbs 4 ozs. and 29 1/2'' long. She's still a little peanut though!
She had to get 4 shots and her toe poked so they could get blood. She wasn't very happy with me!
You can see almost all of her band-aids in this picture! She had them on both arms, both legs and on her toe!
She kept trying to bite the band-aid off her toe!

Kenzie's song

It's kindof dark but here she is playing the piano. Everytime she sees my dad she says "boo" so every once in a while she would turn around and say boo to grandpa.

Happy Mother's Day

We had a very low key mother's day since Kenzie's party was the day before!

Daddy got up and got us breakfast then we went out to lunch, then over to my mom's for dinner!

Kenzie's One!

Kenzie is one! She is getting so big! She has 5 teeth, speed crawls, walks along the furniture and just recently started to take some steps on her own! She drinks real milk and loves food!
