Happy Mother's Day

We went to our favorite dumpling place for lunch on Mother's Day.  

It was so much fun and very yummy!

2nd Annual ECE Art Auction

 Saturday May 10th was the 2nd Annual ECE Art Auction.  Each class (Nursery-Grade 1) makes an art piece then the auction them off to raise money for a charity.  This year the charity was Heart to Heart, it helps local Chinese children who need heart surgery.

 Our Daisy Girl Scouts also did a painting this year.  We raised 3500 RMB ($560 US) with our painting.  Pretty good for Kindergartener and Grade 1 students!

Makenzie turns 7!

 Makenzie turned 7 this year!  I can't believe how fast time has flown. She is such a smart, sassy, sweet and creative little girl.  We can't wait to see what 7 brings us!

Makenzie also received flowers from our old driver, Ma.  It was very sweet of him to remember her birthday even though he no longer drives for us.

Spring Concerts

 Hannah had her spring concert on April 17th.  Her class sang "Baby Baluga."

 Hannah did a great job!

 Makenzie's sping concert was on May 7th.  Her class sang "Cruella DeVille"  and also "Roar"

 We went to Qibao on Saturday to check it out, it was really busy so we only stayed for about an hour.

 We went out for Kenzie's birthday dinner since her birthday falls in the week.  She picked Aijsen Ramen for the meso soup.

Then we got ice cream!  It was a fun day!
