 Ben loves to color, he uses each crayon in the box

 By the end he had the smallest little corner to color on.

International Day of Peace

 September 20th was International DAy of Peace at SCIS.  All the kids got to dress up in clothes from their country.

 Hannah's class had a parade.

 We also had an international potluck

 Kenzie's class had a peace project they worked on.  They also had an international potluck.

Zhou Zhuang {Water Town}

 Day 11

We took a drive to Zhou Zhuang it is an Ancient Water Town about 45 minutes from Shanghai.

 It was really cool to see the waterways and old buildings 

 There were a lot of bridges and alleyways to explore

 We finished the day with our favorite dumpling place

It was a great day!!

Grandma & Aunt Diane's visit

 Grandma and Aunt Diane came to visit.  They arrived in Shanghai on August 20th.

 Day 1 

We went to The Fabric Market where mom had a coat made, then lunch at Cool Docks and we also went to the flower market

 Day 2 

We went to Hongmei Pedestrian Street for lunch and Pearl City

 Day 3 

We went to Yu Garden

 We also checked out the craft market

 and Jing An Temple

 Day 4 

We took them to see the Flower Tree

 It was also Ben's 2nd Birthday! (I can't believe he is 2 already!!)

 Then we went to the Big School for the Back to School BBQ

 Dinner at Johnny Moos for Ben's birthday

 and cupcakes to celebrate Ben's birthday!

It was a great day!

We walked to the Zoo, it was VERY hot!!

We went to the Fake Market (no pics from that day)

Day 7 

We went to Tian zi fang and also the Glasses market

 Lunch at the Kommune

 Day 8

We went to Pearl Tower

 and also Nanjing Road where we had lunch at Ajisen

 Day 9

We went to the Bund

 the Urban Planning Museum, they had a whole floor that had a miniature Shanghai in it.

We also went to the antique road to check it out.

Day 10 

We went to get Pedicures (also no pics)
