4th Annual Goodhue Family Camping Trip!

Our Annual camping trip was August 4-7th this year.  Megan & Joe were in charge of planning the trip this year.  We stayed at White River RV Park in Montague, MI (near Muskegon).  Here are the kids ready for dinner the first night.
Megan & Joe planned activities for us to do!  Thursday night we had a scavenger hunt, Kayla, Kenzie & I were one team.  Beth, Tanner & Erika were another and the last team was Kari, Danny & Hannah.  We had to take pictures of random things that you might find at the campground, you got extra points if your whole team was in the picture with the item.  Our team won the hunt!
 Making sand castles with Papa!
On Friday wee went to Duck Lake to hang out.  Duck Lake is a small lake that connects to Lake Michigan, so it had this little area that was perfect for the kids to play in because it was shallow enough for them to walk in.  Hannah liked the water, but did not like the feel of the wet sand.  She would not put her feet down and had to sit on my lap the whole time.
She did however love the dry sand or "sandbox" as she called it!  Friday night we had a cornhole tournament.  Gary won first prize, Joe won second and Kari won third!
Sleeping in the tent!  The girls love this part!
On Saturday we went to Michigan's Adventure for the day!  It was lots of fun, the have roller coasters and a waterpark.
