Coloring Egg!

We colored eggs on Saturday!  This was the first time since we moved to China that we actually colored eggs, so this was Ben's first time.
Ben had so much fun, every time we pulled an egg out of the cup he would say "WOW!" It was really cute!

Our eggs turned out so great!  I forgot how much fun coloring eggs really is, I'm glad I was able to find dye this past summer!
Let the Easter fun begin!

Chengdu, China

The girls are on spring break this week so we decided to go to Chengdu for a couple days to see the pandas.
We arrived on Sunday and just relaxed and went swimming.
Monday we went to the Giant Panda Breeding Base.  We got to volunteer to help feed the pandas.

We also got to hold an 8 month old panda

We went to the Wide and Narrow Alleys.  It was a cool area with lots of shops, restaurants and old buildings.

 Tianfu Square
Tuesday we drove to Leshan to see the Giant Buddha, it is the largest Buddha in China.

We took a boat ride to see Buddha from the river and then we climbed the mountain to see it from the top.
It was a short trip but we got to see and do a lot of cool things!

Mystery Reader

Kenzie was mystery reader for Hannah's class.  She read "There's a Wocket in my pocket."  She did a great job and Hannah was surprised!
