you have to wear booties over your shoes
 at the top!
They have mirrors in the ceiling every couple feet, as we were walking Hannah kept stopping to make faces so Linnea joined in on the fun!

We also took a hike on the Great Wall
It was so pretty up there
At this point on the wall there are 102 really steep steps...we made halfway up when we decided to turn around!
We had a great time in Beijing!
We went to Suzhou...a small water town about an hour from Shanghai.  The Chinese people call it "Heaven on Earth" it has a lot of gardens and water.
We went to one of the gardens
Pretending to eat at this table in one of the buildings in the garden
We also went to one of the pagodas in town
Our two Ox's (Hannah and Gary's Chinese zodiac animal)
 Linnea...a Chinese celebrity

Sightseeing with Linnea

We went to the grocery store first so I could show her what that is like and all the smells and interesting food they have there, nothing like throwing her right into it!!
The we went to Yu Garden to see some traditional Chinese architecture.
We also went to the craft market...she was a little scared!
Day 2 we went to Jing'An Temple to see the Buddha statues...the girls went with us today because they didn't have school.

 The girls wanted to "pray"
 Making a call
 On The Bund
Linnea got to experience what happens to us when we go places...there were a couple Chinese people taking their picture too!

We had lunch on the Bund in a restaurant that looks like a lighthouse
Playing games after we got back!
The kids just love Linnea and are having a blast with her!!

Our 1st Visitor!

After a long flight Linnea finally arrived!
The girls made this sign to welcome Linnea to China!
Happy to be here!
We can't wait to show her around!
