Girls Day!

The girls and I had a day on the town.  We went to As U Wish to paint some projects.
 Hannah hard at work!
 Kenzie hard at work!
Hannah with her final product, it is a bear.  We can't wait to see how it looks after it gets fired!  Should be nice and colorful!
Kenzie with her final project, a jewelry box.  I also painted a bear for Ben.  I will post pictures when we get them back.  We had lots of fun and we will definitely be going back.  The girls loved painting and I'll admit it I did too!  We had a great day together just us girls!

Oriental Pearl Tower

We went to the Pearl Tower on Monday April 2, 2012.  Kenzie has the week off of school for spring break so Gary took a day off so we could go sightseeing a little bit.  The girls have been fascinated with the Pearl Tower since they first saw it, so since it was a beautiful day we decided to go up in the tower and check out the city from above.

Here we are at the top.

 Me and the kids
Looking down at the other ball.
On the bigger ball they have this glass floor that you can stand on!

They had a Coca Cola shop downstairs so we got our picture taken with the bear!
We had lots of fun in the tower but we were all ready to go home and rest afterwards!

Road Trip to Hangzhou

We took a road trip to Hangzhou on Saturday March 31, 2012.  It is about 2 1/2 hours from Shanghai.  We went to the Leifeng Pagoda it overlooks West Lake.  We went up to the top to check out the views.
 Ben enjoying the day.
 The view from the top!
 West Lake
There is an island in the middle of the lake.
 The boat docks.

 The trees were in bloom!
After the pagoda we went to Qinghefang Old Street it is a pedestrian street with vendors and small shops.
I was trying to take a picture of Gary, Kenzie & Hannah with the laughing buddha and these other people jumped into the picture to take their picture with them too.  Haha!

 We got bubbles.

We took a boat ride on West Lake, it too us to Xiaoying Island.

We stopped to take the girls picture...
 ...and this happens
Anytime we stop to take a picture or just stop we become an attraction!
