Our Weekend

 We went to Bingo Night at Kenzie's school on Friday.  The kids played a couple rounds of Bingo then they went to run around and play while the parents played Bingo!  Here is Kenzie and Leo (from her class).

On Saturday we went to lunch with Manish and his family yo Bukkara, an Indian Restaurant.  Ben smiling for the camera!

Kenzie's Valentine's Day Party

 Kenzie's class had aValentine's Day party at school today so I got to go and meet the kids in her class and their moms.  Here are the Valentine's that we made for her class (good thing I brought lots of craft stuff with us)!

Happy Valentine's Day

 Happy Valentine's Day everyone!  This was Ben's first Valentine's Day!  Here is my little guy!

 Kenzie had school today so we added a little pink and red to her outfit today!  Here she is with treats from Mom & Dad!

 When we went to the store yesterday we got some kid chopsticks so they could start to learn how to use them since a lot of the restaurants here do not have silverware.  So we are all learning how to eat with them Hannah and I practiced today at lunch! 

 She just held them at first and used her hand.

Shanghai World Financial Center

 With Woody outside of the Toys R Us at the Super Brand Mall.  We went there to walk around before we met Gary & Manish for dinner on Saturday (they had to work so we met them downtown).

 We went to the Shanghai World Financial Center.  You can't see it in the picture but it looks like a bottle opener on the top.  We went to the observatory on the the 100th floor to check out the city from above.  We didn't get great pictures because it was dark so we will be going back one day when it is light out so you will see similar pictures in the future only they will be better.

 We then went out to dinner afterward with the Mehta's to get some Chinese dumplings.  Here is Kenzie giving her Chinese pose (this is how most of the Chinese kids pose)

Shanghai Ocean Aquarium

 We went to the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium on Thursday January 26, 2012.  We took a metro train to the aquarium.  The aqaurium is right next to the pearl tower in the heart of Shanghai.

 A lot of the Chinese families wanted their picture taken with the girls (Hannah was less than thrilled about this)

The pearl tower at night.  After we came out of the aquarium it was dinner time so we walked over to the Super Brand Mall to have dinner before taking the subway back home.  We had lots of fun seeing all the cool fish!

Yuyuan Gardens

 Today we took a taxi to Yuyuan Gardens.  They had little shops and a garden.  It is they only old Chinese buildings in Shanghai.  It was so busy.  We had to push our way through the crowd in order to get to the gardens.  We were like a moving tourist attraction, all the Chinese people would stop and check out the kids and take pictures of them.  I'm sure we would have gotten a lot more people checking them out if they didn't have hats on.  It was pretty crazy!

This week they are celebrating the New Year so everything was decorated.
