friday may 28th-Disneyland day 4

We started out Day 4 by going to Mickey's Toontown, we got in an hour early because we had special passes. We finally got to see Donald (Daddy's favorite) we had been searching for him since we got to Disneyland.
They had a little show for all the people who got to go in early

We all went on the Dumbo ride after Toontown.

All the kids loved this ride!

Kenzie laughed the whole time and Hannah said "weeeee" the whole time!

Next we took the train to the front of the park

Then we headed to California Adventure on last time

We got to see Mater

And Lightning McQueen!

We then headed home little did we know what adventure was waiting for us! We left Disneyland Hotel at 12:30pm and after stopping for gas and lunch we were on the road at 1:30pm. As soon as we got on the expressway we were in bumper to bumper traffic, next we got onto the expressway to go back to Phoenix and we were moving...but not for long! We can to a very slow roll we later found out there was a tanker explosion and the road was closed. We thought they would route us around the accident but turns out there was no side roads around it so we could either wait 3-6hours for them to reopen the road or head back then go towards San Diego and around that way-so that's what we did! But yet again we were in bumper to bumper traffic! By the time the traffic let up it was getting to be dinner time so we stopped 5 hours and only 50 miles into our trip. After dinner we were on our way. We finally arrived back at our hotel at 3:00am only 13 1/2 hours after we left!

saturday may 29th- relaxing poolside!

After the long trip back from Disneyland we just relaxed by the pool on our last day in Phoenix!

We had a lot of fun swimming and playing!

sunday may 30th-back to michigan

Tigers Vs. Red Sox

We went to the Tigers game today (it was my mother's day gift)

Sunday's are kids day at Comerica Park so they get to ride for free so we took a spin on the carousel. Hannah loved it she was laughing the whole time!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was Sunday we spent the day at Grandma & Papa's house. We will be going to the Tiger's Game next Sunday as my present.

Kenzie's 3rd Birthday!

Today is Kenzie's 3rd Birthday! Here was our conversation this morning after she woke up:

Me: Morning Kenzie Happy Birthday!

Kenzie: It's my birthday? Do you have presents?

Then I explained that yes I did have presents for her but she had to wait for Daddy to get up so then she asked me "Can you go wake him up?" I said no but you can.

Kenzie: Daddy mom has presents do you want to get up?

Daddy: Not right now!

Kenzie to Me (in a sad tone): Daddy doesn't want to get up!
